Four reasons why Sleeping is important?

Our assumption is when we sleep we are giving rest to mind and body. But that is not the case, sleeping is the active period whereas our mind gets stabled and restored. The average sleeping hours for a grown adult is eight hours minimum. And for kids minimum Ten to twelve hours.  Sometimes if you feel stressed or not in a position to take a decision just have a quick sleep and think again your brain will get restored and you can able to explore new ideas. Listing out four major reasons why we need more sleep.

To maintain weight:

Improving your sleep can be the pivotal reason to maintain weight. Many studies proved that who sleeps less than 6 hours are more likely to have higher BMI (Body Mass Index). Poor sleep will lead to food cravings sooner.

Improves memory:

If you sleep properly your memory gets stabilized and strengthened and even during daytime naps. Regular sleeping helps the brain to put together the events that have happened during the day and ensure that it gets stored as a long term memory.

Muscle Building:

People who hits the gym will definitely sleep for eight hours. Gym sessions could help in muscle building. The actual growth of muscle happens when the body is at rest. During weight training at the gym seems to break down your muscle fibers. Hence the actual building of those sore muscles happens only when you sleep.

Healthy Heart:

Research shows that people who sleeps for eight hours are less likely to suffer from strokes or cardiac arrest. Sleep helps to keep the blood pressure at lower level and heart less stressed while pumping blood. Insufficient sleeps lead to obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes which results in Cardiac arrest.

Can we take bath after eating?

Definitely not a good practice to do so. Taking bath after eating will interfere the process of digestion. People who have slow digestion mechanism will highly suffer because of this. This leads to indigestion, acidity or stomach ache. For some cases people will faint. Our digestion system requires lot of energy and a good blood flow towards the stomach. So when you take bath right after your meal it will affects the body temperature. Normally it is advised to wait at least one hour to get digested or taking bath before meal is well and good.

Digestive problems

Our ancestors followed all these processes and had a healthy life. Normally when you take bath after your meal it directly affects the blood flow and as a result some chemical substances been released and transport more of blood to the nerves system. As a result, because of the low body temperature the digestive process been ignored which leads to some other major digestion problems.

Think for a Moment!

Life is not like a game or movie to either start again or rewind back to the previous scene or incident. Once it is happened its done you can’t roll back. Today when I am traveling back to home there was an incident where two bikers riding without any safety gears at high speed who doesn’t know what’s waiting for them in the next five minutes. The motive here is to showcase themselves as hero, to impress girls, or to race with others. I am not saying they don’t have talent, but riding in public is not the right forum. There is a separate platform for racers, showcase your talent there, ride for your state, ride for your city or country.

Then it is called a racing and people will appraise you. At-last here what happened, the two met with an accident. One dead on the spot and another taken to the hospital. Think about their family for a second!. A mother will be waiting for his son with his favorite dish cooked. A wife or kid will be waiting for him to share the incidents happened for the day and have supper together.

But here the person lying on the road bleeding. Don’t think that someone will save you. Everyone is busy with their priorities to focus, they will just feel pity for a second and leave. Only you have to be careful and save yourselves. Before over-speeding realize what you are doing at that moment, control your mind from temporary fun ride. It might be your passion but what if it goes wrong. If any good souls there in the spot might call ambulance or pass the information to the family. The person who was taken to hospital might recovered soon, but think for a moment if he is loosing his hand or leg. Just think about your family, your friends for a minute. I recently came across a Facebook post which says a person kept his family picture nearby his car digital meter. Whenever he starts his car, it reminds him of his family which makes him conscious to avoid over-speeding. I am not asking you to keep the picture in the same way but before starting your vehicle just think for a moment about your family which I am doing it regularly. Dear minds, life is precious, once it is lost you can’t get back. Ride safely!!

Dessert after meal?

There is a common habit within the people after having meal to have a dessert to fulfill the meal course. Without that they won’t feel complete. People who are in diet will sometimes ask why can’t i have just a piece of sweet after meal. Quantity doesn’t matter, a drop of poison will make the entire bowl poisoned. It is not a healthy habit to have sweets after meals. Already the required proteins, vitamins, sugar, fibre etc will be there in the meal. If you add more sugar to it then having diet meal is a complete mess. Instead try to have fruits. Thats the better way to make you feel fulfilled.

If you still feel like having sweet, then there is an alternate for white sugar. You can have Brown sugar(contains molasses), Coconut sugar(made up from coconut palm tree) or Natural Honey. You can have sweets made up with these ingredients but with less quantity and mainly give a time gap from your meal. Your meal should get digested or else it will get collapsed.

21st Century Concern

Hello minds! In the modern era, most of our concerns falls on our appearance. Either we want to look fair, to reduce weight and look slim or to grow more taller. May be sometimes being more taller is a concern for some. These are all the God’s little trick to make you feel concern all time. Because if there is no problems or concerns in your life then you are going in the wrong way. Problems and failures should be there in your life in order to lead a successful life.

So lets not focus on the problems/issues now. In this article, we will focus on the people who are trying to reduce their weight and look slim. Of course, I am one of the victim who tried to reduce the weight all time in life and achieved by understanding my body. After that my life has changed, it’s like a new chapter of your life. You can wear the dresses you were longing to wear for long time when you do that your confidence level will increase and you will have a positive energy with you. OK! lets talk about why people are being fat? Do you think fat guys are eating a lot? The answer is a big NO.

There are many reasons there of being fat. Either it can be genetic problem or your mind is not sync with your body. You should communicate with your body, you should understand what type of foods your body can accept. One of the major reason for overweight is stress eating. people will eat more when they are in complete stress, continuous failures in business, couldn’t get a new job, etc.. Like this we can list out many. You have to overcome the stress, rather than focusing on food, you can do the things which you like the most. Hear your favorite songs or watch your favorite hero’s movie. When I got stressed from my work I will read novels or I will play online games. Thats depends on the individuals.

Currently many new technologies, equipments and medicines arrived for weight loss. The results will be very sooner but once you stopped following them you will be doubled the size of your previous weight. Moreover in future many complications and side effects will come. Some don’t have the patience and falling into the latest technology traps. Remember one thing this is my favorite mantra and I keep on murmuring into my mind ” If you want something you have never had, you must be willing to do something you have never done” So minds just understand your body and feed what it can accept.

Just a small hack – avoid junk foods, don’t skip your breakfast, evening before 6 PM finish off your dinner, instead of having more quantity of food at a time split your meal and mainly try to avoid sugar which is the major reason for weight gain and some deadly diseases. Have more boiled vegetables and fruits. So eat healthy and have a healthy life. I will write a specific blog about diet plans and actual side effects of Sugar.
